Who are we? We are grandpas, grandmas, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, sons, daughters, cousins, granddaughters and grandsons. Our ages run from the 70's to teens. We are the people of the district that have roots in the area and want to protect it. If you want to help your community we are willing to try and find a place for you. Most importantly we are family.
What do we do? To call us a fire department is just half of what we do. We are a spoke in the wheel of emergency services. We cover residential and wildland fires within the district. We respond to emergency medical calls and welfare checks on people when requested.
When do you meet? We have weekly training Tuesday nights at 7pm. The Board of Commissioners meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 9am with the exception of the 2nd meeting dates in November and December. The Commissioners enjoy it when the tax payers come to the meeting to voice their concerns, have an idea how to improve service, or just to hear what is happening in the department.
